A FREE EVENT and celebration of Lewes incorporating the Battle of Lewes re-enactment, medieval traders and historical displays and demonstrations.
An expert team of Historical Re-enactors and Historians are again creating this spectacle to unite the town with the clash of steel against maille as the re-telling of the events of 14th May 1264 unfold in all its glory.
Spanning across 2 days - the event will feature re-enactors from across the country and beyond, with a full medieval camp, combat displays and activities at The Convent Field and the Priory including Archery, 13C jousting, Falconry, Catapults, catering and beer tent. Live music Friday and Saturday nights.
A medieval trading village on the Convent Field with medieval wares as well as medieval entertainment for all of the family.
