March through time at Days of Yore, a brand-new event where centuries of military history spring to life! There’s something to spark imaginations of all ages with hands-on experiences, exciting demonstrations and interactive displays across the Park. Engage in a sword fight with a Viking, cheer on a medieval jousting match and feel the boom of Civil War cannons blasting. In 2024, the Days of Yore event held at Didsbury, AB was brought to an end after ten years. A group of interested re-enactors got together and discussed the possibility of another site. As a result, Heritage Park Historical Village was approached and has graciously offered to host this wonderful event for 2025. More information on the re-enactments can be found here!
