Hear Ye, Hear Ye! Join us for our first annual Frisco Library Renaissance Faire!
Whether you're a noble lord, a daring rogue, or a fairy from the forest, all are welcome to join us for an afternoon of medieval merriment. Plan to bring your friends and family for fun, learning, and hands-on history. All ages welcome and admission is free!
What to Expect:
Live music performances: Enjoy the sounds of the era with performances from musicians and minstrels, such as the North Texas School of Irish Music and Sombati.
Combat Demonstrations: Watch fighters clash in thrilling displays of historical fighting techniques.
Blacksmith & Forge Demos: See real metalwork in action as a skilled artisan demonstrates how tools were made.
Leatherworking Demos: See traditional leatherworking skills in action with our friends from the Dallas Makerspace.
Artisan Vendors: Browse handcrafted goods available for sale. Shop for wares, tasty treats, and other treasures from local merchants.
Themed Activities and Crafts: Fun for all ages! Try your hand at Renaissance-themed crafts and games throughout the day! Supplies limited.
A D&D Adventure: All adventurers, experienced or brand new, are invited to embark on our event-wide D&D adventure! We'll get you started on a self-guided quest like no other!
Come in Costume! Dressing up is highly encouraged! Whether you're a gallant knight, a whimsical woodland creature, or a humble peasant, don your finest garb and join the revelry! Don't have a costume? Never fear! Come as you are - there's still plenty of fun to be had!
