Unwind and take a step back into medieval times at the 2nd Annual Lavonia Renaissance Festival. Last year’s festival was a huge success and we expect this year will be even bigger and better! Enjoy a turkey leg while watching a comedic take on Shakespeare or learn how to forge a knife. Let your kids unplug for the day to play old fashioned games that don’t require a USB cable! The festival will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. at the Lavonia Memorial Park (behind City Hall.) Entrance fee is $10, $5 for students, and five and under are free. The day will be filled with royalty, music, dancing, theatre, food, children’s games, a petting zoo, a doggie kissing booth, and NEW this year will be a Birds of Prey demonstration. Everyone is welcomed to dress in Renaissance costumes!
