About
The Unquiet Grave music is dark and hauntingly beautiful at times while driving and rhythmic at others. They rewrite old ballads with new music and perform them in a storytelling fashion. Virtuosic guitar, violin, and flute playing are featured among a rich blend of textures and rhythms.
The Unquiet Grave features vocalist Elise Ebbinghaus, who has training in operatic, classical, and contemporary theatrical techniques. She is accompanied by guitar virtuoso Randall Krieger, a trained classical guitarist and composer. These two founding members of The Unquiet Grave are joined by violinist Jim Hurley who has played with such acts as Blackmore's Night, Tempest, and many more. As well as by a team of many other adept and virtuosic players including Phoenix Thanos on flute, Tom Dreiman on bodhran, Elijah Pontecorvo on bass guitar, Michael Relland on cello, and Calixto Lara on percussion.
