At Lykos we create everything from your base layers in linen to the finest adornments in silver and gold inspired by real historical finds.
We love crafting and creating, learning as much as we can about everything that went into life during the viking age in Scandinavia so we can pass that on to everyone we meet at faire in a fun and educational way.
We have a very wide selection of products and categories but the process always begins in museums, archaeological reports, sagas, and historical texts. We specialize in Viking Age, Vendel Period, and late Iron Age Scandinavia, working to stay as close to the original sources as possible. Every item is handmade using manually operated tools, with special care given to comfort, functionality, and durability—so our goods can be worn and used for years to come.
We like to say we offer everything you might need on your adventure and find that although we're rooted in the viking age our items are very versatile and adaptable to most periods and fantasy as well.
We're a hardworking team who's grown up going to markets and renaissance faires. We love interacting with patrons and sharing the history of what we do with people. We have a rounded selection and often hear from patrons and other vendors that they haven't seen a booth like ours before and that they appreciate the history and care we put into our wares and interactions.
